Maha: Govt striving for effective use of AI tech in agriculture sector

Mumbai, Apr 17 (UNI) Principal secretary of Agriculture Department, Vikas Chandra Rastogi, said on Thursday that the Maharashtra government is keen on how artificial intelligence (AI) technology can effectively be used in agriculture sector in the state.
He was speaking at a workshop of Agriculture Department organised at Mantralaya to consult on the draft of the AI Policy for the Agriculture Sector.
Rastogi said that the central and the state governments are focusing on use of innovative technology in agriculture to make the lives of farmers easier.
