see more.. 19 Mar 2025 | 6:39 PMKolhapur, Mar 19 (UNI) Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials on Wednesday arrested a private agent in Maharashtra's Kolhapur district, who allegedly demanded Rs 5 lakh from the complainant for a pending work.The arrestee, identified as Suresh Jagannath Khot (49) of Bhairewadi in Shahuwadi tehsil, met the complaint, who had applied at the Tehsildar office for a new 7/12 certificate with correction. Khot lured him with the promise that he would do his pending work as he was acquainted with the tehsildar. He demanded Rs 5 lakh for it.The complainant informed the ACB officials who laid a trap and arrested Khot red-handed while accepting Rs 5 lakh from the complainant. UNI SSS ARN SSP.
