Gujarat board class 10 result declared, girls score over boys

Gandhinagar (Gujarat), May 8 (UNI) The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) on Thursday declared the results of Class 10 board examinations conducted in February-March this year.

According to an official release issued here, girl students have scored over boys, this time too. The pass percentage of girls is 87.24 per cent, which is about 7.68 per cent more than 79.56 per cent of boys. A total of 7,46,892 candidates appeared in this examination. Of them, 6,20,532 candidates have passed.

The best result was 89.29 per cent in Banaskantha district and 72.55 per cent in the weakest Kheda district.

The results were also uploaded on the board's website at 8 am. The total pass percentage in 2023 was 64.62 and in 2024, the result was 82.56 percent.
