State-of-art laboratories to be set up at 20 ITIs in Maha

Mumbai, Apr 15 (UNI) The Department of Skill Employment Entrepreneurship and Innovation and social organisations Sri Sri Rural Development Programme Trust Bangalore, Schneider Electric India Foundation, Bangalore, Deasara Foundation of Pune and Project Mumbai in Andheri signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in the presence of Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Tuesday.
The objective of this MoU is to set up state-of-the-art laboratories in 20 Industrial Training Institutes (ITI) in the state, creating employment by organising entrepreneur fairs to train micro and small entrepreneurs, increasing technical education and employment opportunities for disabled students studying in ITIs in the state.
The tripartite MoU was signed between Sri Sri Rural Development Trust, Schneider Electric India Foundation and Directorate of Vocational Education and Training to provide new technology and industrial training to the youth.
