Expedite leakage prevention work of Dudhganga-Kalammawadi dam at earliest: Maha Minister

Kolhapur, Apr 19 (UNI) Maharashtra and District Guardian Minister, Prakash Abitkar, on Saturday instructed Water Resources department to plug leakage from Dudhganga-Kalammawadi dam at earliest before onset of the monsoon season.
He gave this instruction during an inspection tour of the Dudhganga-Kalammawadi dam, which supplies water to Kolhapur and neighbouring Karnataka.
He said that for many years, farmers and citizens have been demanding that the leakage from this dam be repaired.
