Relatives of victims of Pahalgam attack hail 'Operation Sindoor

Mumbai, May 7 (UNI) The relatives of victims of Pahalgam attack in Maharashtra have hailed 'Operation Sindoor' in which the Indian armed forces targeted nine terror hideouts deep inside Pakistan on Wednesday morning as a powerful response to the heinous act.

Pragati Jagdale, a resident of Pune whose husband Santosh was one of the 26 people killed in the Pahalgam terrorist attack, thanked the Indian Army and the government for conducting 'Operation Sindoor' and described it as a fitting tribute to the victims.

Speaking to media, Jagdale said that through Operation Sindoor, a tribute has been paid to those who were killed in the terror attack. "I am thankful to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for carrying out Operation Sindoor," said the Pune resident.

"I am thankful that our emotions have been understood. Our sindoor was wiped out by terrorists. Today I am very happy that under Operation Sindoor, our armed forces have avenged it by targeting nine terror hideouts in Pakistan", Jagdale added.

Santosh Jagdale, the daughter Asavari Jagdale had tears in her eyes, but managed to say that the loss of many like her, had been compensated to a large extent.

She said India has paid genuine homage and served justice to the victims of the Pahalgam terrorist attack by initiating Operation Sindoor.

Santosh said the operation's title mirrored solidarity with the victims' widows. "I knew India would avenge the terrorist attack," she said.

Kunal Ganbote, son of another Pahalgam attack victim Kaustabh Ganbote, thanked the armed forces and government for conducting Operation Sindoor, saying the entire country was waiting for "such action". He also said that naming of the operation was a mark of respect towards women.
