Maha: MNS Vidyarthi Sena chief visits Cartoon exhibition in Pune

Pune, May 8 (UNI) Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) president Raj Thackeray's son and MNS Vidyarthi Sena president, Amit Thackeray, on Thursday visited the Talking Line Cartoon exhibition here.
Speaking as the chief guest at the concluding ceremony of the exhibition organized by MNS Vidyarthi Sena, he expressed his regret for not listening to his father's advice when he was young.
My father gave me only one piece of advice when I was a child, that whatever I do, draw a picture once a day, but I did not listen to him," he said while expressing his regret.
"Today, I feel so bad that if I had listened to the advice my father gave me, a cartoon of me would have been seen here today," said Amit, who seems to be upset about the neglect of the art of cartooning.
"Today I am very happy to see a cartoon of a small child here. This is your art, do not waste it, I will give you the same advice that my father gave me, that no matter how busy you are in life, give an hour for cartoon," he reiterated.
"No one can teach you the art of cartooning. This art is either within you or not. I have many friends who have learned drawing, even tried to learn cartooning, but they cannot draw even a simple line," Thackeray scion added.
