Maha: Ex-MLA Sanjay Ghatge, Pandurang Barora join BJP

Mumbai, Apr 15 (UNI) Thousands of workers from Shiv Sena (UBT), Congress and NCP (SP) have joined the BJP to support Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Developed India' and Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis' 'Developed Maharashtra' concept, said state party president and minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule on Tuesday.
Among the new entrants are former Kagal MLA Sanjay Ghatge of the Uddhav Thackeray group, former Shahapur MLA Pandurang Barora of NCP group and senior Congress leader Prasad Baliram Hire from Malegaon, former Mayor Sanjay Fund of Shrirampur.
With new members joining the BJP, the strength of the party will increase by another 50 lakh, he claimed.
