Train-car collision in Indonesia kills 4, injures 3 ahead of Eid celebrations

Jakarta, Mar 27 (UNI) A train collided with a car in Sukoharjo regency, Central Java province, Indonesia on Wednesday, killing four people and injuring three others, officials said.
The accident occurred at a railroad crossing on Pasarnguter Street. All victims were immediately transported to DKR Sukoharjo Hospital, said Feni Novida Saragih, public relations coordinator for operational area 6 of Indonesia's state railway company PT Kereta Api Indonesia.
"All casualties were occupants of the car," Saragih told Xinhua.
"Four people were killed and three others sustained injuries in the accident," Sukoharjo regency Police Chief Anggaito Hadi Prabowo said.
He added that the victims had been traveling to their hometown to celebrate Eid al-Fitr, the Islamic festival marking the end of Ramadan.
