Patna, Mar 20 (UNI) Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar on Thursday suddenly got angry over the use of mobile phones on the floor of the House by the members of the state assembly and asked the Speaker to ban its use inside the house.
The question hour proceedings were in progress RJD MLA Krishna Kumar Mohan alias Sunday Yadav was asking his question while looking at his mobile during the pre- lunch sitting in the state assembly. Suddenly Kumar visibly angry over the use of mobile phones by the members strongly objected to it and demanded from the Speaker Nand Kishore Yadav to ban its use in the House.
He said mobile was already banned in the house and no one was allowed to carry it inside.
Intervening in the reply of Bihar Minister lacy Singh to the question of Suday Yadav Kumar said that the trend of using mobile phones even inside the house began 5 to 6 years ago and asked the speaker to ban it at the earliest.
Anyone carrying a mobile phone inside the House should be thrown out, he said and asked the members to speak on their own instead of looking into their mobile phones.
He demanded from the Speaker to tell no one to bring a mobile phone and ban it.The Chief Minister said that he too used to watch it a lot, but when realised in 2019 that something wrong was going to happen in the future, he stopped watching it.He said if the use of mobile phones prevailed in such a manner and if this situation continues, the earth will be destroyed in 10 years.Kumar ask the speaker to launch a drive at the earliest against the use of mobile phones inside the house.UNI RS KK
