RLJP no more part of NDA : Paras

Patna, Apr 14 (UNI) RLJP President and former Union Minister Pashupati Kumar Paras on Monday announced that his party was no more a part of NDA.
Paras, while addressing a function organised by his party to pay tributes to Baba Bheem Rao Ambedkar here, said that RLJP was no more a part of NDA. His party was not given due importance by the NDA leadership in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, and its interests were completely ignored, he added.
" We will join any alliance giving importance to our party in the next Bihar assembly elections slated for October-November this year ", the RLJP leader said, making an oblique reference to his inclination for the Grand Alliance. Paras has been in touch with RJD supremo Lalu Prasad for the last few weeks.
Prasad had also attended an Iftar party hosted by Paras in Patna. In the presence of Prasad, Paras had dropped enough hints of deserting NDA but declared that a formal decision would be taken at an appropriate time after consultation with party leaders and workers.
