RSS dismisses claims of rift with BJP

RSS dismisses claims of rift with BJP

Bengaluru, Mar 22 (UNI) Amid speculation of a rift between the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), RSS Sah Sarkaryavah Arun Kumar on Saturday dismissed such claims, asserting that the two organisations continue to work together based on mutual trust.
"There are more than 32 organisations working under the Sangh. Each organisation is independent and has its own decision-making process. Each has its own membership, elections, and structures at the local, district, and mandal levels, which follow their own internal mechanisms," Kumar said.
Refuting reports of RSS interference in BJP’s organisational affairs, he clarified, "There is no coordination meeting for the election of the National president. Be assured that there is no rift between us. We work together on societal and national issues, and even today, we are working based on mutual trust."
