RSS hails Operation Sindoor as justice for Pahalgam massacre

Nagpur, May 9 (UNI) Hailing Operation Sindhoor as a "decisive step" that has restored the nation's dignity and boosted collective morale following the brutal massacre of Hindu tourists in Pahalgam, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) on Friday lauded the Centre and the armed forces for their swift and strong response against Pakistan-sponsored terrorism.

In a statement issued by Sarsanghchalak Dr Mohan Bhagwat and Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale, the RSS said the action taken by the armed forces had served justice to the aggrieved families and the entire country. "This firm action against Pak-sponsored terrorists and their ecosystem has enhanced self-respect and morale of the entire nation," it said.

Expressing full support for the ongoing military operations, the RSS noted that striking terrorist infrastructure and support systems in Pakistan was both "necessary and inevitable" for India’s security. "In this hour of national crisis, the entire country stands with the government and armed forces in spirit and action," it added.

The organisation also condemned what it described as "savage and inhuman" attacks by the Pakistani army on religious places and civilian settlements along the border, expressing heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families.

The RSS appealed to all citizens to strictly follow the instructions issued by the government and local administration, and to remain vigilant against any attempts by anti-national forces to disturb social harmony. "While discharging our sacred civic duty, we must ensure no conspiracy succeeds in disrupting social unity," the statement said.

Calling for public cooperation in this critical hour, the RSS urged citizens to be prepared to assist the armed forces and civil authorities in every possible manner, and to stand together to uphold national unity and security. UNI BDN GNK
