Ruling LDF Govt neglects poor living in high-range areas: Rajeev Chandrasekhar

Thiruvananthapuram, Jun 9 (UNI) Kerala BJP President Rajeev Chandrasekhar on Monday criticised the ruling Left Democratic Front (LDF) Government for its alleged neglect towards poor people residing in high-range areas in Nilambur.
The BJP chief was responding to the death of a 10th-class student who came in contact with a live wire from an electric fence set up illegally on private land to trap wild boars.
He said, "Ananthu’s tragic demise in Nilambur is the latest proof of the LDF government's unforgivable neglect of the high-range communities. Wild animal attacks have become routine, but the government remains paralyzed."
"Despite repeated fatalities and massive crop losses, there’s no urgency on the part of the administration, no action, only silence," he felt.
Over the ongoing election battle in Nilambur, he said, "Successive LDF and UDF governments and legislators have made it clear they lack both the will and the intent to address Nilambur’s real issues. It's time for a change. It's time to back the NDA and support Adv. Mohan George for a Vikasit Nilambur."
