Rupee falls 6 paise against USD

Mumbai, May 9 (UNI) The Rupee on Friday slipped 6 paise at 85.66 in opening session on rising demand for US Dollar by bankers and importers at the Forex Market informed.

Escalating tension between India and Pakistan was also impacted the same.

The local unit remained weak wing to strong Dollar against other world currencies amid sliding equity market in early trade.

The Rupee recorded intra days high and low at 84.57 and 85.68 respectively, dealer added.
