Mumbai, May 12 (UNI) The BSE Sensex on Monday zoomed 1349 pts at 80,803.80 on strong global cues.

Ceasefire agreement between India and Pakistan, positive trade talks between US and China too boosted investment sentiments.

The National Stock Exchange (NSE) rose 412 pts at 24,420.10 pts.

All the stocks were in the green, especially utilities, metals and BSE services rallied over 3 per percent.

The BSE Sensex registered an intraday high at 80,944.28 and an intraday low at 80,651.07, respectively.

The Nifty registered a day's high at 24,543.55 and a low at 24,378.85 pts.

The mid cap gained 2.68 pc and the small cap by 3.15 pc.

In 30 scrips, 29 advanced while 1 declined.

The gainers were Adani Ports by 4.87 pc to Rs 1370.80, Bajaj Finserv by 3.53 pc to Rs 2039.95, Bajaj Finance by 3.33 pc to Rs 8928, Powergrid by 3.22 pc to Rs 309.20 and Eternal by 3.22 pc to Rs 234.25.

Sole loser was Sun Pharma by 5.39 pc to Rs 1650.75.

The US market, European market and Asian market were seen strong.
