New Delhi, Apr 22 (UNI) Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday condemned the terror attack on tourists in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir, expressing outrage and affirming that the perpetrators of the dastardly act will not be spared.
The Home Minister through his social media handle X said he will be leaving for Srinagar shortly, where he will hold a security review meeting with all the agencies.
Shah further added that he had briefed Prime Minister Narendra Modi about the incident.
Shah said, "Anguished by the terror attack on tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. My thoughts are with the family members of the deceased."
"Those involved in this dastardly act of terror will not be spared, and we will come down heavily on the perpetrators with the harshest consequences," the Home Minister said.
"Briefed PM Shri @narendramodi Ji about the incident and held a meeting with the concerned officials via video conferencing. Will shortly leave for Srinagar to hold an urgent security review meeting with all the agencies," Shah said.
