Smack worth Rs 1.5 crore seized in East Champaran

Motihari, Mar 23 (UNI) Police seized 7.5 Kg of Smack worth Rs 1.5 crore under Nakardeyi police station area in the East Champaran district of Bihar.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Swarna Prabhat while confirming the report to UNI on Sunday said that the price of the seized Smack was estimated to be Rs 1.5 crores in the international market. At least ten smugglers were involved in the incident, he added.
" Four of the ten accused involved in the incident have been identified ", SP said adding that raids were being carried out to nab the smugglers. Close vigil was being maintained to check smuggling activities in the area, he informed.
