Stalin leads massive rally expressing solidarity with Indian Armed forces

Chennai, May 10 (UNI) Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin on Saturday led
a massive rally on the Marina beach front saluting the valour and expressing
full solidarity with the Indian Armed forces who were engaged in a fierce battle
with Pakistan forces against terrorist activities under Operation Sindoor.
The massive procession commenced from the DGP Office and culminated in
the War Memorial near Island Grounds covering about 2-3 kms on the arterial
beach road stretch this evening.
Carrying the National Tricolour in his hand, Mr Stalin led the rally in which tens
and hundreds of people, also carrying the National Flag, took part in the rally.
Ex-Servicemen, Ministers, Officials, the general public and students also
participated in the rally.
Mr Stalin said Pakistan was nurturing and promoting terrorism. Apart from
spoiling itself it was engaged in transgressions in India.
"It is time to display our open support for the defence forces engaged
in a heroic war fighting against Pakistan's terror acts to protect us and
the borders", he said.
The rally was to salute the bravery, valour, courage, selfless service,
sacrifice and dedication of the Indian Armed Forces and to strengthen
the country's Unity.
During the rally, the Greater Chennai Corporation ensured that all basic
amenities were put in place for the benefit of the participants.
An official release said 10 medical camps, equipped with ORS packets to
avoid dehydration, were set up all along the rally route, besides 200 shelters,
in view of the intense heat wave conditions, 71 drinking water points, 50 toilets
and 15 ambulances.
Though drinking water points were arranged, participants were advised to bring
their own drinking water.

CBI conducts raids 42 locations in 8 States against transnational organised cybercimes,

Chennai, May 10 (UNI) The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Saturday
conducted searches at 42 locations in eight states and arrested five people
under ongoing Operation Chakra-V against Transnational Organised
Cybercrime/Digital Arrest and to crackdown on sales of unauthorized SIM
cards used in Cybercrime.
In continuation of ongoing efforts to curb Cybercrime/digital arrest cases as part
of Operation Chakra –V, CBI launched searches at multiple locations on premise
of various Point of Sale Agents of Telecom Operators, allegedly acting in connivance
with Cybercrime criminals and unknown executive of Telecom Service providers in
issuing SIMs cards which are subsequently used in illegal activities involving digital
arrest, impersonation, fraudulent advertisement, investment fraud, UPI frauds, etc.
