Patna, Apr 22 (UNI) Surya Kiran Air Show was organised on Tuesday in Patna, displaying the strength of fighter planes of Indian Air Force (IAF) and para jumpers.
Air Show was organised in Patna as trial of splendid show to be organised on April 23, to commemorate birth anniversary of veteran freedom fighter Veer Kunwar Singh, being celebrated as Vijay Diwas.
A fleet of fighter planes took off from Bihta Airport of Indian Air Force and displayed its stunning show in sky over Patna, especially near marine drive on the bank of Ganga river, named as J P Ganga Path. Para jumpers were also attraction for students who had gathered in larger number, just opposite Sabhyata Dwar on J P Ganga Path.
It was a spectacular show of fighter planes of Indian Air Force, bringing cheers for a large number of school students, invited to witness the show. Para jumpers jumped mid air from fighter planes on land ,who were curiously witnessed by all those present at the venue to watch the event.
Patna was declared no fly zone for the period during which Surya Kiran Aerobatic team displayed their show with all valour. Air show would be organised again on April 23 to commemorate the birth anniversary of veteran freedom fighter Veer Kunwar Singh.
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Deputy Chief Ministers Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha besides other important dignitaries will remain present on the occasion.
