Vedanta group reaffirms Rs 50,000 cr investment in Assam’s growth

New Delhi, Feb 28 (UNI) Vedanta Group on Friday said it is committed to invest Rs 50,000 crore in the state of Assam in oil and gas exploration, through its subsidiary Cairn Oil and Gas, targeting 100,000 barrels of production per day and generating one lakh new jobs.
