Take strict action against anti-social elements in Maha: IAC chief

Pune, Mar 22 (UNI) India Against Corruption (IAC) and OBC leader, Hemant Patil, on Sarturday strongly condemned the incident of violence in Nagpur and demanded for bulldozer action against miscreants who are causing social unrest and disruptive demonstrations in Maharashtra.
In this incident, some miscreants directly attacked the police, molested female police personnel and set vehicles on fire, creating an atmosphere of terror in the city, he said.
The government is constantly trying to maintain peace and harmony in the state, however, some anti-social tendencies are deliberately trying to create violent incidents, he said.
In the Nagpur incident, police force was attacked, women police were mistreated and public property was destroyed, he continued.
After this incident, some anti-social elements were arrested, however, mere arrest is not enough, Patil said and demanded that it is time to take bulldozer action against the accused in Maharashtra as well.
