Patna, Mar 20 (UNI) Mocking at the demands of Bihar Chief Minister for banning the entry of members with mobile in the Legislature, the leader of opposition in the state assembly Tejaswi Prasad Yadav said it was unfortunate that the CM was claiming that the world will end in 10 years due to mobile!
While talking to media persons here on Thursday, he said intending to protect the environment, an arrangement has been made to provide the reply to the questions online to make the house paperless.
He said if a member has to raise supplementary he will have to look either at the mobile phone or tab.
Dubbing the Chief Minister as computer illiterate Yadav said it seems that the Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was not tech savvy and has problems asking the questions looking either at the phone or tab.
He said it was unfortunate that Bihar has such an orthodox Chief Minister who was against the technology, youth, students, and women.
Kumar was visibly angry over the use of mobile phones in the house by the members of the state Assembly and asked the Speaker to ban its use inside the house. He also demanded to ban the entry of the members along with the mobile phone and anyone carrying it inside the house should be thrown out. He asked the members to speak on their own instead of looking at their mobile phones.
The outburst of the CM was on the RJD MLA Krishna Kumar Mohan alias Sunday Yadav who was asking his question while looking at his mobile during the pre-lunch sitting in the state assembly on Thursday. Strongly objecting to it, he said the mobile phone was already banned in the house and no one was allowed to carry it inside.
Kumar said that the trend of using mobile phones even inside the house began 5 to 6 years ago.
The Chief Minister said that he too used to watch it a lot, but when realised in 2019 that something wrong was going to happen in the future, he stopped watching it.
He said if the use of mobile phones prevailed in such a manner and if this situation continues, the earth will be destroyed in 10 years.
