Telangana BC Commission Chairman donates one-month salary to National Defence Fund

Hyderabad, May 10 (UNI) In a heartfelt gesture of patriotism, G Niranjan, Chairman of the Telangana Backward Classes Commission, has pledged his one-month salary to the National Defence Fund (NDF).
The move comes in the wake of the horrific Pahalgam incident, where innocent civilians were brutally killed in front of their families—an attack that left the entire nation in deep mourning.
Moved by the tragedy, Niranjan expressed his solidarity with the Indian Army, which has since launched 'Operation Sindoor' to eliminate terrorism and honour the nation's collective grief and resolve.
Calling it a citizen’s duty to support the armed forces, Niranjan urged fellow Indians to contribute generously to the National Defence Fund and stand united with the Army in its mission to safeguard the country.
