Telangana CS holds review meeting on hailstorm impact in Adilabad and Karimnagar

Hyderabad, Mar 21 (UNI) In the wake of the hailstorm that struck the joint Adilabad and Karimnagar districts, Chief Secretary Shanti Kumari on Friday held a teleconference with district collectors as per the instructions of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy.
She assessed the situation and emphasised the need for immediate relief measures to assist affected residents.
The Chief Minister has directed all officials to remain on high alert as heavy rains accompanied by gusty winds are expected over the next 48 hours. He stressed that the district administration must be readily available to the public and conduct continuous reviews to ensure timely assistance.
Precautionary measures should be taken to prevent loss of life and property, and district officials have been instructed to submit regular reports to the government on the estimated damages caused by the unseasonal rains, an official statement said.
