Temple priest murdered by unidentified miscreants in Ayodhya

Ayodhya (UP), Apr 7 (UNI) A Priest of the famous Durga-Hanuman temple, located in Inayatnagar area of Ayodhya district here in Uttar Pradesh, was killed by unidentified persons with a sharp-edged weapon on Monday, police sources said here.
Police sources said that Bechan Das Yadav, the priest of the famous Durga Hanuman temple located in Dobara village, Shahganj Chowki Barun Marg was murdered with a sharp weapon. "On Monday morning, when the villagers went to the temple, they found the body of the priest lying on the floor of the temple. The villagers immediately informed the police about this," they said.
Police sources said that a heavy police force has been deployed at the spot. "The forensic team has also reached the spot and is investigating. It is being said that the priest also used to practice exorcism and used to live in his house near the temple outside the village," they said.
Police sources said that two persons have been detained on the basis of suspicion and are being interrogated by the police.
