UP: Two of family killed, 7 injured as tractor trolley overturns

Firozabad (UP), Apr 7 (UNI) Two members of a family were killed and nine others were injured when a tractor-trolley carrying devotees overturned in the Narkhi area of Firozabad district here in Uttar Pradesh on Monday, police sources said here.
Police sources said that Umesh Chand Verma, a resident of Gangini village under Fariha police station in the district, was going to Usaini Vaishno Dham Devi temple under Tundla police station with his family and relatives on Monday afternoon in a tractor trolley.
"On the way, the tractor trolley lost balance and overturned on the banks of the Sirsa river in the Narkhi area," they said.
Police sources said that the villagers and police reached the spot and took the nine injured to the district hospital in an ambulance.
"The doctor declared Shailendra Verma (45) and his daughter Preeti Verma (24) dead among the injured. While the other seven injured have been admitted to the hospital for treatment," they said.
