Lucknow, May 14 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday said that Pakistan, which is a supporter of terrorism, will one day be swallowed by this poisonous snake of terrorism.
To salute the valour of the Army after the success of 'Operation Sindoor', the CM flagged off the Bharat Shaurya Tiranga Yatra from his official residence. He led the Yatra with the tricolour in his hand and on behalf of the people of the state, congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi, soldiers, ex-servicemen, and youth for the success of Operation Sindoor.
He said that the whole country is eager to salute the brave soldiers while saluting the valour of the Indian Army. He said that when there is a challenge and someone is giving space for the national crisis, then patience and unity are our biggest assets.
Yogi said, "In this environment, due to the soldiers, India defeated the spirits of Pakistan. The world also saw the shameless face of Pakistan and its masters, in which the leaders and military officers of that place also participated in the funeral of the terrorists. These things show that Pakistan is a failed nation, and in the last 70-75 years, it has only sown the seeds of terrorism. Pakistan has told the world the story of its failure. The support being given to terrorism proves that terrorism will swallow Pakistan one day."
He said that Operation Sindoor was the answer to the kind of audacity that the hollowed-out Pakistan is showing today. "It is certain in the coming times that whoever points a finger at India and works to breach the security against the honour of our sisters and daughters, there will be no one to cry at his funeral," he said.
The CM said that Pakistan-backed terrorists had perpetrated a gruesome and barbaric incident in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, on 22 April, which was condemned by the country and the world, but Pakistan, the promoter of terrorism, and its masters remained silent.
He said, "Our government, committed to protecting the honour and dignity of India, provided all the evidence, even after that, Pakistan did not stop its activities, so finally 'Operation Sindoor' was launched. On the very first day, more than 100 terrorists and their family members who directly contributed in nurturing the poisonous vine of terrorism were punished for the heinous act," he said.
He said, "Everyone acknowledged the might and valour of the Indian Army. The brave soldiers of the Army, Air Force and Navy gave a strong reply to the audacity of Pakistan and also gave a message to the world that we will not provoke, but will not spare those who provoke," he said.
Yogi said that the Tiranga Yatra has been started by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in honour of the soldiers. "This tricolour is a symbol of India's honour, pride and valour. The Tiranga Yatra is being started in UP from today to express respect for the tricolour, give the highest honour to the soldiers and express gratitude to PM Modi," he said.
He said, "Your presence so early in the morning, despite the scorching heat, is a beautiful example of the expression of respect for the Indian Army. This is the feeling of patience and dedication that the Indian citizens expressed towards the soldiers and the government of the country under Operation Sindoor."
The CM said that it has been the resolve of PM Modi from the very first day that when we talk of a new and developed India, our aim should be nation first. "To realise the vision of a developed India, we must work with the spirit of the nation first. When the spirit of the nation is first will be the priority of 140 crore Indians, then every Indian will be engaged in discharging duties in their respective field, then no power in the world will be able to stand in front of India," he said.
Expressing gratitude towards PM Modi, he said that he kept the whole country united and boosted the morale of the brave soldiers by going to Adampur in Punjab.
