Tirupati: CJI Sanjiv Khanna offers prayers at Tiruchanoor temple

Tirupati, Apr 5 (UNI) Chief Justice of India (CJI) Justice Sanjiv Khanna, during his maiden visit to Tiruchanoor, offered prayers at Goddess Padmavati Ammavari temple, near here, on Saturday evening.
On his arrival at the temple, the CJI was welcomed by TTD Executive Officer J Syamala Rao.
Later, the CJI offered prayers to the presiding deity and was offered with Thirtha Prasadams after Vedasirvachanam by Vedic Pundits.
Later, he reached Sri Padmavati Rest House in Tirumala, where he was accorded warm welcome by the TTD Additional EO Ch Venkaiah Chowdary.
The CJI will offer prayers in the Tirumala temple on Sunday.
