Tripura police call forensic experts after recovery of drone along Indo-Bangladesh border

Agartala, Apr 8 (UNI) Tripura police asked the forensic experts to investigate the manufacturing and user details of a drone fitted with a camera recovered within 300 metres of Indo-Bangladesh border on Monday.
Superintendent of Police (South Tripura) Mourya Krishna C on Tuesday said based on the information from the villagers, police recovered the drone in a paddy field at Bolla Mukh, a village close to the Bangladesh border in Belonia subdivision of South Tripura district.
“We have recovered a gadget that has no information embodied in the body. As a result, details of the device information, uses, and purposes have not yet been ascertained. Police are looking at all possible angles and the suspected users, but it requires scientific investigation, and we sent it to forensic experts,” Mourya stated.
