Trough from Central parts of Odisha to South Vidarbha become less marked: Met

Amaravati (Andhra Pradesh), Mar 20 (UNI) Wednesday’s trough from central parts of Odisha to south Vidarbha across south Chhattisgarh at 0.9 km above mean sea level has become less marked, Meteorological Centre said on Thursday.
In a daily weather report here, it said thunderstorm accompanied with lightning is likely to occur at isolated places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and Rayalaseema from March 22 to 24.
Strong winds with speed ranging from 40-50 Kmph is likely to occur in Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and Rayalaseema during the same period.
There will be no large change in maximum temperatures in Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and Rayalaseema during the next five days.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at few places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and Rayalaseema from March 22 to 24.
Dry weather is likely to prevail in Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and Rayalaseema during the next 48 hours and on March 25 and 26.
The highest maximum temperature of 40.7 degrees Celsius was recorded at Anantapur in Rayalaseema on Wednesday, the report added.
