Two killed as truck hits car in Moradabad

Moradabad (UP), Apl 2 (UNI) Two girls were killed and two youths were injured when a car was hit by a truck in Mundhapande area of Moradabad district here in Uttar Pradesh, police sources said here on Wednesday.
Police sources said that Sanju alias Ashu (26), a resident of Rohtak in Haryana, along with Rahul (28) were returning to Delhi from Nainital in the car after a picnic with their female friends Shivani (28) and Simran (25) on Tuesday night. "During this, as soon as they reached the highway at Zero Point in Mundhapande police station area, a speeding truck loaded with cement pipes coming from the opposite direction (Delhi) hit the car," they said.
Police sources said that people from the vicinity rushed to the spot and saw four people, including young men and women, were trapped in the car. "The injured were pulled out of the car by the people and all were taken to the district hospital where doctors declared both the girls Simran and Shivani dead," they said.
