Imphal, Apr 28 (UNI) Security forces arrested two alleged militants from Sawombung Gate near Forest office under Lamlai-PS, Imphal East District during an operation during the last 24 hours.

Manipur Police has successfully recovered seven vehicles during a special drive aimed at resolving thefts and snatches from anti-social elements and miscreants.

Further, tinted glasses were removed from 207 nos. of vehicles by Manipur Police in the special vehicle drive.

In another operation six IEDs were recovered from T Minou, Moreh Sub-Division under Moreh-PS, Tengnoupal District.

All the IEDs were diffused by the Bomb Disposal team and the remnants were handed over to Moreh-PS.
