UP: 2 killed, one injured as car rams into tractor

Sonbhadra (UP), Apr 22 (UNI) Two persons were killed and one more was injured when a car rammed into a tractor in Pannuganj area of Sonbhadra district here in Uttar Pradesh, police sources said here on Tuesday.
Police sources said that the incident took place late on Monday night when the tractor loaded with grains was going near Teera Hospital. "Around 1 am the car coming from Ramgarh hit it from behind," they said.
Police sources said that the car driver Deepak and Dilip sitting on the passenger seat died on the spot. "Pradeep sitting on the back seat was seriously injured and is undergoing treatment at the district hospital Lodhi," they said.
Pannuganj police station in-charge Dinesh Prakash Pandey said that the tractor driver has been taken into custody. "After the arrival of the family members further action is being taken," he said.
