UP: Siblings die in Farrukhabad road accident

Farrukhabad (UP), May 14 (UNI) Two siblings were killed when their motorcycle was hit by a roadways bus in Rajepur area of Farrukhabad district here in Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday, police sources said here.
Sharda Devi (32), a resident of village Baijupur in Hardoi district, along with her brother Awadh Singh (20) were going on the motorcycle to Ganga Panchal Ghat in Farrukhabad district to participate in a programme organised by their relative.
Near Gandhi village in Rajepur police station area of Farrukhabad, both the brother and sister riding were seriously injured after the motorcycle was hit by a speeding roadways bus coming from Farrukhabad city.
The sources said both the injured brother and sister riding the motorcycle were taken to Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital in Farrukhabad for medical treatment, where the government doctor declared the woman Sharda Devi dead. "After a few hours of treatment, her brother Awadh Singh also died," they said. UNI XC AB SSP
