UP: Yogi to inaugurate Sant Ravidas Satsang Bhawan in Ayodhya

Ayodhya (UP), May 9 (UNI) Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will inaugurate the newly constructed Sant Ravidas Satsang Bhawan, a state-of-the-art spiritual facility built at a cost of Rs 1.15 crore in Ayodhya on Saturday.

Located within the premises of the Sant Shiromani Guru Ravidas Temple at Hanumankund in Ayodhya Dham, the building has been developed by Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) with support from the Department of Tourism.

Designed to accommodate up to 400 devotees, the Satsang Bhawan is equipped with modern facilities to host religious congregations, spiritual discourses and social events. It is expected to become a key spiritual and community centre for the followers of Guru Ravidas, not only in Ayodhya but across the region.

According to the schedule, CM Yogi will arrive at the Ram Katha Park helipad by 2 PM. He will begin his visit by offering prayers at the Hanuman Garhi temple, followed by a darshan at the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi temple. Thereafter, he will proceed to the Sant Ravidas temple, where he will pay respects to Guru Ravidas.

During the visit, the Chief Minister will also pay floral tributes to the statues of Guru Ravidas and Dr BR Ambedkar. After inaugurating the newly built Sant Ravidas Satsang Bhawan, he will address the devotees from the stage.

Prasad will be distributed to all at the end of the event. According to temple Mahant Banwari Pati, the new satsang bhawan will become an important centre for the followers of Guru Ravidas.

The Yogi government continues to spearhead numerous projects aimed at transforming Ayodhya into a global centre for religious tourism. The construction of the Sant Ravidas Satsang Bhawan marks yet another milestone in this vision, providing pilgrims and visitors with a dignified, inclusive space for reflection and devotion. The initiative also represents the state's emphasis on cultural respect, inclusivity and community development.
