Viksit Kerala key to achieve Viksit Bharat: Kerala Governor

Thiruvananthapuram, May 5 (UNI) Viksit Bharat can be achieved only through Viksit Kerala, Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar said while presenting the Awards instituted by Trivandrum Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TCCI) here on Monday.
Noting that success comes after years of struggle, the Governor said that the success stories of the award winners should become household narratives in the state.
The Governor gave away the awards to 10 doyens who had proven their mettle in diverse fields of business. The iconic business Brand award was given Muraleedharan of Muralya Dairy products.
Lauding the efforts of TCCI in bringing the doyens of industry together, the Governor exhorted that our mindset should change, and it should reflect the changing times.
He said Kerala has to become developed to realize the Prime Minister's vision of Viksit Bharat by 2047. The Governor reminded that Viksit Bharat is not just an economic concept alone, but a social and emotional one too.
Sashi Tharoor MP, Speaker A N Shamsheer, Minister K B Ganesh Kumar were present at the function.
