Three killed, 20 Injured in accident in Maharashtra

Buldhana, Apr 15 (UNI) At least three persons were killed and 20 injured in a collision between a Madhya Pradesh Transport Corporation Bus and a brick-laden truck on Tuesday.

According to the sources, the accident took place on the Khamgaon–Nandura road in Vidharbha region of Maharashtra.

The collision was so severe that the front portions of both truck and bus were badly damaged.

According to eyewitnesses, both truck and bus were travelling at high speed at the time of the incident.

The critically injured were hospitalised in Akola.

Khamgaon police reached the spot.

Further investigation was underway.

The identification of the deceased was also in progress, report added.
