Maha: BJP MLA Padalkar skips invite to DyCM Pawar for Ahilyadevi Jayanti programme next month

Pune, Apr 16 (UNI) BJP MLA Gopichand Padalkar said on Wednesday that he will not invite Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister and NCP (AP) national president Ajit Pawar to the Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Jayanti (birth anniversary) programme scheduled to be held here next month, sparking discussions in political circles about internal differences in the ruling Mahayuti.
Talking to reporters here, he explained that this is not a government programme but of the Dhangar community.
For this programme, Union Home Minister and senior BJP leader Amit Shah has agreed to come, he said and informed that he will invite Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, ministers Chandrakant Patil, Ashish Shelar, state party president Chandrashekhar Bawankule, BJP working president Ravindra Chavan and many others.
