11 students of Jawahar Navodaya school test  +ve for COVID

Agartala, June 29 (UNI) The management of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in Sepahijala district sent as many as 11 students for home isolation on Sunday after they tested positive for COVID-19.

Sepahijala district magistrate Dr Siddharth Shiv Jaiswal said that the infected students didn’t respond to the initial treatment, and hence the decision of sending them home was taken on Sunday.

Dr Jaiswal said that there were no severe case among the infected students and they will complete a two week long isolation period.

The district administration has sanitized the school premises and hostel, he added.
