14 MLAs of Uddhav Thackeray-Shiv Sena in touch with Dy CM Eknath Shinde, claim Mah leaders

Mumbai, Sep 29 (UNI) Eknath Shinde MLA Murji Patel has claimed that as many as 14 MLAs of the Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena are already in touch with Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde to pull off an ‘Operation Tiger-4’ and defect.
“Major changes are likely within the Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena in the coming days. As many as 14 MLAs of the Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena are in touch with Eknath Shinde,” Murji Patel told newsmen, but refused to name any MLA who is likely to defect from the Uddhav-led Sena.
MLA Murji Patel reiterated that more leaders from the Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena arte likely to join the Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena, adding that some Uddhav Thackeray-led Sena municipal corporators have also shown interest in joining the Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena.
Meanwhile, some leaders of the Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena have claimed that Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde is likely to return as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, speculating on unconfirmed news that Devendra Fadnavis will move to New Delhi shortly, in order to handle bigger responsibilities.
Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena Nandurbar MLA Chandrakant Raghuvanshi told media persons that if Eknath Shinde had not revolted against the Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena, the BJP would never have come to power in Maharashtra and that it is Eknath Shinde who revived the BJP's political fortunes in the state.
“If Eknath Shinde had not revolted, BJP would not have come to power and (Raghuvanshi's political rival) Dr Vijaykumar Gavit would never have got a ministerial post. In fact, Eknath Shinde has revived the BJP. We hear that Devendra Fadnavis is going to the centre. If Devendra Fadnavis goes to the centre, Eknath Shinde will certainly be the front-runner to hold the reins of power in Maharashtra,” Nandurbar MLA Chandrakant Raghuvanshi said.
Commenting on Raghuvanshi's statement, another Eknath Shinde leader based in Pune, Ravindra Dhangedar told media persons that during the last Maharashtra assembly election, people voted only after seeing Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde's face.
“At the moment, Eknath Shinde is sitting quietly. I too feel that news may come anytime now that Eknath Shinde has returned as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra,” Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena leader Ravindra Dhangedar told media persons.
