25 more Telangana citizens evacuated from Middle East reach Delhi

New Delhi/Hyderabad, June 25 (UNI) As part of its continued humanitarian efforts, the Government of Telangana, under the leadership of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, successfully facilitated the safe return of 25 more state citizens stranded in the conflict-hit Middle East region. With today's arrivals, the total number of evacuees brought back stands at 48 as of June 25.
The returning citizens, including passengers from Iran and Israel, were received by officials at Telangana Bhavan in New Delhi.
The Telangana Bhavan team extended warm hospitality and provided all necessary assistance, including reception, refreshments, and support for onward travel. While most of the returnees had arranged their own flights to Hyderabad, officials ensured smooth coordination and guidance to make their onward journey hassle-free.
Evacuation efforts have gained momentum following the announcement of a ceasefire and the reopening of restricted airspace. Despite the improving conditions, the Government of Telangana remains fully committed to ensuring the safe return of every last citizen who is still stranded abroad.
A dedicated helpline continues to operate at Telangana Bhavan, offering real-time assistance and information to those awaiting evacuation or currently in transit.
The Government of Telangana reiterates its unwavering commitment to the safety and well-being of its citizens and assures that it will continue its efforts until all affected individuals are brought home safely, an official statement said.
