3 youths killed in motorbike accident in S 24 Parganas

Kolkata, June 28 (UNI) Three youths were killed and another was critically injured when their motor-cycle skidded off the road and fell into a roadside water-filled drain in West Bengal's South 24 Parganas district in the wee hours today, police and witnesses said.
The accident took place at Patharpratima when the victims were returning on the two-wheeler after witnessing Rath Yatra mela overnight in the neighbouring village.
The local people took them to the Diamond Harbour hospital where the medics declared the three dead on arrival. The fourth injured was admitted to the hospital.
The deceased were identified as Subrata Mondal (24), Dipankar Mondal (19) and Mostaquin ( 32).
The injured Sanjay Mondal (19) was admitted to the Diamond Harbour hospital with multiple wounds.
All are residents of Raghopur village under Basirhat police station.
