AAP slams Channi remarks, says Punjabis take pride in electing Mann govt

Ludhiana, May 31 (UNI) Senior spokesperson of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Neel Garg has strongly reacted to former chief minister and Congress leader Charanjit Singh Channi's recent remarks suggesting that the people of Punjab "regret" electing the AAP government.

Garg dismissed the remarks as baseless and reaffirmed the widespread public support for Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and the AAP government.

“Channi claims that Punjabis regret electing the AAP, but the truth is that the people of Punjab feel immense pride in their decision. Under CM Bhagwant Mann's leadership, the AAP government has fulfilled the aspirations of the public and delivered transformative governance in a short span of time,” said Neel Garg.

Neel Garg said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Mann, the AAP government has delivered transformative governance that directly benefits its citizens.

"Thousands of young people have been provided with job opportunities, fulfilling the government’s promise to tackle unemployment. The healthcare sector has witnessed a revolution with the establishment of state-of-the-art facilities and free treatment, ensuring that quality medical care is accessible to every Punjabi," said Garg.

Looking ahead at the upcoming Ludhiana West elections, Garg stated, “The people of Ludhiana will again affirm their trust in AAP and reject the Congress' empty rhetoric and failed leadership.”
