AAP to contest UP Zila Panchayat polls with full strength: Sanjay Singh

Meerut (UP), May 21 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh in-charge of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh on Wednesday said that his party will fight the Zila Panchayat elections in the state with full strength.
Addressing the office-bearers of western UP, district officials and workers in a day-long Sankalp camp held in Meerut, explaining Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia's ideas related to social, economic and political justice, Singh said that the "AAP' government has done the best work for public welfare in the last 10 years of rule in Delhi, which cannot be compared with the work of any BJP-ruled state in the country".
He said, "Just as the government was run in Delhi by doing politics of education and health, in the same way, now in UP too, 'AAP' is strengthening its political organisation on issues related to public concern."
The AAP leader said that in the upcoming Zila Panchayat elections, AAP will contest with full strength.
"The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is only working on issues like pitting brother against brother, temple-mosque and Hindu-Muslim fight. In BJP-ruled states, its governments are running a campaign to save corruption and corrupt people," he claimed.
He said the AAP party in UP will "fight on the streets by becoming the voice of the people against the administrative injustice and atrocities being done to the people".
