ACB officials nab Satara district divisional Mandal officer for accepting bribe

Kolhapur/Satara, June 6 (UNI) Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials in the Satara division arrested the Satara district divisional Mandal officer for accepting Rs 75,000 from the complainant for registered names on a certificate.
The arrested person was identified as Ajit Dadasaheb Ghadge (48), a divisional Mandal officer.
According to ACB, the complainant had applied to register his name in the certificate, for which Mandal officer Ghadge demanded Rs 1 lakh, out of which Rs 75,000 was needed now and the remaining Rs 25,000 after the name was registered.
The complainant informed the ACB office, which laid a trap and arrested Ghadge red-handed while he was accepting a bribe of Rs 75,000 as the first installment.
