Andhra: Car with 23 kg ganja seized, three smugglers held

Kakinada, June 27 (UNI) The Andhra Pradesh police intercepted a car near Vasanth nagar on the outskirts of Sarpavaram near here and seized 23 kg of Ganja from the inmates of the vehicle today.
The four alleged smugglers stopped the car and started running but police caught three of them after a hot chase.
They were carrying white plastic bags along with them containing Ganja to a total quantity of 23 kgs.
The accused reportedly confessed that they had purchased the Ganja in Darakonda in the agency area for retail sale locally.
All of them are from Kakinada city. UNI XC KNR SSP
