Anu Malik returns to ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2026’ as special judge

'Mumbai, Oct 30 (UNI) Composer and singer Anu Malik is returning to "Sa Re Ga Ma Pa", this time as a special judge on the 2026 season of the singing reality show.
The composer, singer and lyricist will evaluate the contestants’ performances and offer feedback drawn from his years in the music industry for the coming few weeks.
Launched with the theme of becoming 'Hindustan Ka Sangeetsthan,' this season sees Shankar Mahadevan, Javed Ali, Neeti Mohan, and Kumar Sanu as judges, with Shreyas Talpade hosting the show. Dedicated to the rich heritage of Indian music, this platform offers new talent from across the country the opportunity to showcase their singing talent.
Malik has been associated with "Sa Re Ga Ma Pa" before. His return to this prestigious platform will be a special one for the show. This is his fourth stint as a judge. His presence is expected to benefit the contestants with his musical experience and guidance.
Regarding his return to the show, the 65-year-old composer-singer said that he has had a long association with "Sa Re Ga Ma Pa," and returning brings back many fond memories. It's always a pleasure to witness the passion and talent of young singers up close.
