AP: Golden Sathaari presented for Ayinavilli Vighneswera temple

Kakinada, May 18 (UNI) Devotees from Kothapeta have presented a golden `SATHAARI" (Sathagopam) costing Rs.30 lakhs to Sri Vigneshwara, the presiding deity of the famous temple at Ayinavilli.
The devotees Venkata Krishnamraju and Durgavati, along with their son Venkata Surya Subbaraju and daughter-in-law Swetha have presented the Golden Sathaari made with 369 grams of gold .
The temple priests and the executive officer have received the Sathaari from the donors at a brief function held at the temple premises on Sunday .
Later the priests amidst vedic hymns performed Paduka Samprokshana and honoured the donors with sesha vastrams.
Temple executive officer presented the donors the photo of Sri Vighneswera.
The donors are the family members of late Manthena Subbaraju who served as MLA Andhra Pradesh in the early days.
