AP: Ministers participate in Tiranga rallies in various districts

Vijayawada, May 18 (UNI) Tiranga rallies were taken out at various districts in which the Ministers and MLAs participated, extending solidarity and support to the Indian army and promoting patriotism on Sunday.
A huge Tiranga rally was taken in Nellore led by Minister P Narayana, in which a large number of people participated.
The participants held the tricolour flag and raised slogans like 'Bharatmata Ki Jai' and praised the army. The rally began at VRS Centre and concluded at Gandhi statue. The highlight of the Tiranga rally was the 1000 feet national flag. Hundreds of people held the 1000 feet national flag in the rally which became a cynosure of all.
Addressing the gathering, Minister Narayana lamented that 26 innocent people were killed by the terrorists and the Indian army taught a fitting lesson to Pakistan, which is abetting and encouraging terrorists, in the Operation Sindoor. NUDA chairman Kotamreddy Srinivasulu Reddy, RTC Zonal chairman Suresh Reddy and Mayor Roop Kumar were among those who took part in the rally.
In Eluru district, Minister K Parthasarthy led the Tiranga rally at Chatraiah on Sunday. The Minister holding the national flag participated in the rally, which began at NTR Vikas school and ended at Dr.Ambedkar. Braving rain, hundreds of people took part in the Tiranga rally holding national flags raising slogans like 'Bharat Mata Ji Jai'.
Addressing the crowd, Minister Parthasarathi lamented that 26 innocent people were killed by terrorists and an AP soldier martyred in an encounter in J&K. He extolled the Indian armed forces for teaching a lesson to Pakistan.
In EG district, Tourism Minister Kandula Durgesh led the Tiranga rally in Nidadavole town. Holding the national flag, he took part in the rally. He paid tributes to Indian soldier Murali Naik. The rally began at Gandhi statue and concluded at Ganapathi centre. Former MLA Burugupalli Sesha Rao and municipal chairman Bhupati Adinarayana were among those who participated in the tiranga rally.
